Let Your Light Shine
This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine. Everywhere I go, I'm going to let it shine. The sweet lyrics to "This Little Light of Mine" says this little light but in reality, it's a big light. It is a big light that reminds us how powerful and how big of an impact our light has on the world.
In our daily lives the stress of just work can be enough to make you feel down and out. Raising children, relationships, and other outside source can lead to spiraling emotions and thoughts. One way to help is yoga. When yoga is practiced there is a shift in your body and mind that can allow for the opportunity to awaking your creative side, activate those happy vibes, and make the body feel relieved and strong.
We sometimes think that in order to feel that in yoga it has to be the in a powerful flow class. That's not always the case, just moving your body in slow, intentional movements can be enough. Enough to bring back that spark, that light of yours. It's imperative that we move because it demonstrates self care, which in return then we can allow others to see our light.
Your light is needed in this world because it's what shows the world the love, the compassion, the faithfulness, and all your wonderful gifts.
So, during this holiday season remember to take time to do yoga. Your body, your mind, and others will be glad that you did.
Here's a slow flow that you can practice by yours truly, me.
